When we moved in this BBQ Island was covered entirely with 4" x 4" powder blue tiles and it looked awful.  Shirley and I picked new earthtone tiles from Lowes and now it blends.  I think this has been our biggest undertaking since we moved in.

We added plantation shutters to all the downstairs windows - it made a huge difference =)

We added two overhead storage racks in the garage.  It gave us so much space to get things off the floor.  We can almost get two cars in here now ;0)

We added a whole house extractor fan just outside the master bedroom door.  It works really well on those cooler nights when we can ease off on the A/C
